BIO

Miles’ music career has soared throughout 2025, establishing him as one of the most exciting emerging artists both within and beyond Liverpool. From performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sefton Park—handpicked by Dave Monks—to receiving his debut Radio 1 play from Jess Iszatt, Miles’ rise has been marked by a series of standout milestones. In November, he celebrated his first headline show at the iconic Jacaranda, solidifying his growing reputation in the city’s vibrant music scene.

Supported consistently by BBC Introducing, Miles recently achieved another breakthrough when John Kennedy invited him for a live session on Radio X in London—his first time performing his music outside of Liverpool. Over the past year, his sound has evolved into a distinctive blend of atmospheric lo-fi and indie tones, capable of filling any space with a captivating ambience—perfect for a mid-day festival set.

Miles’ online presence has also grown rapidly, driven by his independently built TikTok audience, which continues to introduce new listeners to his music. His second-largest listener base now lies in the South of England, particularly in Brighton and London. With his growing fanbase and momentum following the Radio X session, performing live down south in 2026 would be a natural and exciting next step in his journey.

This year, Miles Temp is set to support Ava Fitz at the Arts Club Loft in October as well as announcing his first headline show at the Jacaranda Basement on November 22nd 2025 presented by Harvest Sun Promotions.

REVIEWS

'Absolutely smashed it on stage'

- Jess Iszatt, Radio 1 LDN (Big Weekend, BBC Introducing stage)

'Somebody who could well end up playing music for the next 25 30 years... this is absolutely extraordinary'

- John Kennedy, Radio X-Posure Big One

'The added backing track that brought a cinematic edge to the biggest moments, with swirling strings and drum rhythms, added an extra layer of textural interest behind his acoustic playing and brought together a rapidly developing sound'

'one of the most promising new songwriters in the city'

'his performance ebbs and flows, winding between moments of intimate delicacy that draw you in and moments of soaring power that take you back'

- Boot Music Magazine, James Booton

'Miles is definitely on our radar and someone to watch for the future - ambitious and talented young songwriter'

- Dave Pitchilingi, CEO Modern Sky and Sound City

'The highlight of my night was definitely Miles Temp. With just his guitar and voice, he totally held the room in the palm of his hand. His voice is extremely powerful and his original songs were so vulnerable and compelling. The room fell silent a few times. With such presence, it’s hard to believe Miles is just starting out. I’m eagerly waiting to hear more from him!'

- Rianne Downey, singer (Paul Heaton)

'what a voice!'

- RadioX, John Kennedy

'This is stunning. The connection between his heart, voice and song writing is palpable. Just beautiful.'

- Jennifer John, Polaroid Picture review

'With lyrics comparable to that of Leith Ross, Miles appears to not only accept but to utilise the vulnerability that comes with being a singer songwriter'

'The ability to form an emotional connection with a crowd of people, all associating individual experiences to the same lyrics is something Miles Temp holds an incredible importance to'

- BRASSIC MAG, Issue 1

'Sounds really, good! Very ethereal & gentle, lots of soul too and the production is top level too. Great work!

- Chris Massey, DJ, Paper Recordings, Speeches records
